Shanghai provides excellent taxi service. For your convenience, you are advised to choose from the following:

Shanghai Dazhong (blue color)
Shanghai Qiangsheng (yellow color)
Shanghai Jinjiang (white color)

You are advised to ask for an invoice from the taxi driver. Taxis charge a uniform standard rate according to the meter.
Starting / minimum charge (first 3 kilometers): RMB10
Next 3-10 kilometers: RMB2 per kilometer
Beyond 10 kilometers: RMB3 per kilometer

Please note: From 11:00 pm to 5:00 am : an extra 30% will be charged.
